Events Calendar

• Grief and Growth is a 8 week grief group that is held twice a year in the Fall and Spring.
  
  
• A yearly memorial service is held the first week of December at Heartland Baptist church to honor the memory of those who have died.
  
  
• Bereavement Luncheons are held February, May and August. This is a time of food and fellowship with others who have experienced a death.
  
  
• Camp Courage is a weekend camp held in June for children 6-17 who have experienced a loss through death. The camp is held yearly in June.
   
• ANNOUNCING: Hospice of Siouxland's Family Grief Support Group. Hospice of Siouxland is offering grief support groups for children and teens ages 6 to 15 who are grieving the death of a loved one. Groups are held every other Thursday during the school year starting September 8th, with break during December and January. Meetings are from 6:00-8:00 pm at Siouxland PACE Center at 313 Cook St, Sioux City (old HyVee on 4th and Hamilton). Supper is provided and daycare is available for younger children upon request. (New Paragraph) – There is no fee, however families can make donations for an amount with which they are comfortable. Pre-registration is required.
