Thank you for the Bereavement Newsletters for the past year. I have read them thoroughly and enjoyed and appreciated them immensely. I want to thank you so much for your support during this past difficult year without Don. Coming to the Grief and Growth sessions was very painful at first, but I now realize it allowed me to begin to heal and realize how blessed I have been-my 40+ years with Don, the new friends I have made, the continued support of all the friends and family, and the wonderful guidance of Hospice during the sessions. In the newsletter, I particularly loved the "thought" that were placed in the newsletters and my particular favorite begins, "Grief is like the wind. When it's blowing hard, you adjust your sail and run before it
"
I do have hope, knowing that God continues to place people in my life who care about me. Thank you so very much for your part in God's plan.
On the anniversary of Don's death, I took a flower to the cemetery (one my daughter had sent for her Dad) and I made a snow angel for Don. He would have loved it!
One of the last "thoughts" in the newsletter is one I hope to accomplish - "Let the joy of your loved one's life begin to take the place of the hurt and anger of the death."
Thank you for being there.
