  • Charity Care
No one is denied hospice services. People without insurance or means to pay still receive the same compassionate care delivered by our team of skilled professionals and volunteers.
  • Bereavement Services
Adjusting to the loss of a loved one is very difficult, sometimes even traumatic. Hospice of Siouxland offers the families of our patients 13 months of bereavement support. Bereavement support includes: monthly educational newsletters, adult grief and growth support group, children grief support group, an annual memorial service, and support from trained bereavement coordinator and volunteers.
  • Volunteer Program
Volunteers provide companionship to patients, relief for caregivers, assistance with cooking and errands, support during bereavement and so much more. Volunteers also help Hospice of Siouxland with office duties and deliver medications, small equipment and medical supplies to patients.

All direct care volunteers are required to take an 18-hour volunteer training and are offered monthly inservices to continue their knowledge and skill development. More info on volunteering...
